I was referred to Hugo & Damaris and when I saw their photo style I knew they would be my perfect wedding photographers. I got married in the peak of COVID and so many vendors stop answering messages and even cancelled on me. Regardless of the restrictions and multiple changes Hugo & Damaris stuck with me and went above and beyond to ensure my wedding was amazing. I would recommend them to anyone, they love what they do and it truly shows.

When Graham and I decided to ditch the California, traditional venue, 200 person wedding, and instead plan a weekend in Baja with less than 50 of our closest friends my biggest worry was finding a photographer that could capture all our memories. Planning a wedding in Mexico was at times tricky for us, but once we found Dámaris and Hugo everything seemed to fall into place. They were immediately incredibly warm and excited for us and our plans and even offered to connect us to other vendors they knew and trusted. Our venue was really an airbnb, so not a place they had been before, but within a few minutes of arriving they had already scoped out all the best photo locations. Through out the day their shooting style was casual in the best way, fast and efficient and focused on all the important real moments happening. I can not recommend them enough, and hope to continue using them for future big life moments myself!

We had the best experience with Hugo, Damaris, and their helper. The communication was wonderful and our evening wedding pictures were stunning. As well as our wedding portraits that we took days after our wedding. I can't recommend them enough. It felt like being photographed by friends. I stumbled upon Damaris and Hugo through a friend who got her pregnancy pictures taken. The magic & the loving pictures they took made me instantly realize I wanted them for my elopement at Sunset Cliffs. They made our day feel so special, loving, comfortable, and exciting. In 2018, we were recommended to Dámaris by another photographer that was already booked for our big day. From the first meeting we had with Dámaris and Hugo, we were sold. They were extremely helpful and answered all of our questions. From that moment I felt at ease and knew our pictures were going to be amazing. They communicated with us in a timely manner and always answered our questions. They took our engagement and wedding photos which came out amazing! After that, we’ve booked several mini sessions.

We decided to do a courthouse wedding and wanted to capture the memories forever. After seeing their IG page and their work we were immediately sold. The photos came out beautifully and we felt very comfortable throughout the session. We are forever grateful!

We found Damaris and Hugo on instagram, we thought we just loved their style but we LOVE them! They went so above and beyond, in fact, Damaris helped connect us with our planner and venue! The turn around for photo delivery and edits was insanely fast too.

And when I met them, they were so humbled and honored that I chose them - it made me really believe that they would put the most care and love into my pictures and I was right. Having Hugo & Damaris document our wedding weekend was by far the best decision my husband and I ever made. Not only are they super professional, they are incredibly talented and truly helped us so much in the wedding planning process on all levels. You guys made us feel so comfortable and had everything handled to a T. We were able to relax fully and enjoy with our loved ones and it came through all of our STUNNING photos. They literally put everything they had into making sure we had all the photographs we could have hoped for from our special day/ weekend. From dawn until the end of the night, they were up running around getting photos from all angles. David and I were planning a backyard wedding in barely 3 months time. The only thing I truly wanted at the small backyard wedding was nice photos to remember the day with. A friend of mine gave me their social media and had told me a friend of hers had recommended them to her. Once I saw the photos I was immediately sold. From the day I spoke with them, to the day of the wedding I have NOTHING but amazing things to say about my experience- from their work, their lovely and kind hearted demeanor, their communication, and help- (We had a miscommunication about the date of the wedding- my fault-and they were SOOOOO helpful and did everything they absolutely could to provide solutions and still gave me the amazing photos I was hoping for despite a potentially disastrous outcome). I will forever be grateful for their kindness and enthusiasm to do what they love! Truly truly amazing people. I will be using their services in the future and will 100% refer them to whoever I can. It wasn’t just the “product” they left me with, but the feeling and impression I was left with that lives in my heart.
