Before March of 2020, as wedding photographers in Baja, we thought that we were light years away from that trend to hit our Country. Culturally, Weddings in Mexico had to be huge. 200-500 guests, inviting everyone you have ever known in your life. Even your grandma's neighbor from her childhood.

During the pandemic, if you wanted to get married, there was no other option. You had to adapt and plan a small wedding, preferably in an outdoor venue. Which Valle de Guadalupe in Baja, was a perfect fit.

Big weddings have their own magic, but there's a powerful energy you create when you gather your closest friends and family, and enact a wedding ceremony surrounded by the beauty and quietness of nature.

Kim and Louie decided to take the route of planning their small wedding in Casa Frida; a beautiful space full of art, culture, and colors in the heart of Valle de Guadalupe. The couple's daughters had a main roll during the whole wedding, which made everything more meaningful and emotional. Tears of joy were everywhere; it was such a powerful event to witness.
